Manufacturing Engineer

Location: On-site in Justin, Texas, United States

What you will do

• Implement lean-based continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Support new equipment installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide daily technical direction to maintenance teams and help resolve manufacturing issues through root-cause analysis.
• Improve plant layout, process standardization, work documentation, training materials, and manufacturing procedures.
• Provide technical product support, including engineering submittal drawings and documentation for engineered products and sales.
• Maintain an active production-floor presence and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or comparable solid-modeling software.
• Experience with process improvement, metric development, problem-solving, and technical documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to accept varied assignments and travel intermittently up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, construction materials, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes such as welding, CNC milling, and facing.
• Understanding of basic engineering principles and strong mathematical ability.
