Equipment Engineer III (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States. Full-time onsite role on the regular day shift.

What you will do

• Lead installation, startup, commissioning, qualification, and lifecycle strategy for advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs using equipment monitoring, analytics, and predictive maintenance models.
• Analyze uptime, throughput, MTBF, utilization, and maintenance metrics using FDC, SPC, and related tools.
• Manage spare-parts planning, vendor relationships, equipment upgrades, service activities, and supplier performance.
• Lead cross-functional projects for reliability, cost, cycle time, quality, capacity, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a master’s degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced assembly, electronics test, wafer fabrication, packaging, module assembly, automated test, reliability test, or final test operations.
• Experience with semiconductor process equipment, assembly automation, inspection and metrology, handlers, probers, testers, burn-in, or related high-reliability electronics manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of FDC, SPC, statistical analysis, and manufacturing data systems.
• Experience leading equipment installations, factory expansions, technology transfers, and cross-functional projects.
• Ability to collaborate with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, EHS, Automation, and Supply Chain teams.
