Manager - Finance Infra

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 120,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Review investor financial reporting, including US GAAP and IFRS financial statements and fund performance metrics.
• Review NAV packs and working papers prepared by external fund administrators.
• Manage fund capital activity, liquidity, forecasting, investor queries, and compliance requirements.
• Present significant transactions to senior management and coordinate with external service providers.
• Review support for US and Canadian tax reporting, prepare audit requests, and maintain control documentation.
• Analyze complex accounting issues, improve reporting processes, and use AI tools to streamline workflows.

Requirements

• University degree; business or accounting education is an asset.
• Professional accounting designation such as CPA or CA.
• At least five years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with private or semi-liquid funds and the investment management industry.
• Experience with complex ownership structures and AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot.
