Finance Business Partner, Enterprise Technology

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The role may require in-person onboarding and/or in-person identity verification.

Salary: CAD 95,000–139,700 starting base salary annually, with potential additional bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own financial consolidation, forecasting, and reporting for the Enterprise Technology organization.
• Partner with technology leaders on SaaS contracts, software tools, vendor spend, renewals, and cost savings.
• Help design and implement a Technology Business Management framework connecting technology spend with services, applications, and business outcomes.
• Translate financial and operational data into recommendations and investment considerations for senior leadership, including the CIO.
• Support software capitalization, amortization forecasting, documentation, audit readiness, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Build financial models, dashboards, and reporting while improving processes, automation, and financial controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or a related finance role, including IT finance or technology spend management.
• Experience influencing decisions and presenting financial insights to senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, consolidation, month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel, data analytics, and financial modeling skills with the ability to create repeatable reporting and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, business judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Technology Business Management, IT cost transparency, or IT financial management frameworks.
• Experience managing SaaS, software licensing, vendor spend, contract renewals, and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of internal-use software capitalization, software development life cycles, capitalization documentation, and amortization timing.
• Experience with SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Airtable, Power BI, or similar ERP, planning, reporting, and visualization tools.
• Experience using AI and automation to standardize reporting, strengthen controls, improve forecast accuracy, or scale finance operations.
