Manager, Global Finance

Location: Hybrid working arrangement at the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada location

Salary: CAD 110,628–135,000 per year

What you will do

• Account for and consolidate financial results in a multiple-currency environment.
• Support acquisition accounting, purchase price allocation, and global finance projects.
• Review financial data and resolve regional and local accounting or reporting issues.
• Prepare consolidation journal entries, audit and reconcile financial submissions, and support financial statement preparation.
• Prepare working papers and liaise with external auditors as required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a sizable and complex organization.
• CPA designation.
• Experience with US GAAP, complex accounting concepts, and consolidation in a multiple-currency environment.
• Strong experience with consolidated financial statements, reporting, multi-currency accounting, and foreign currency transactions.
• Experience with SOX requirements and acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation and auditing financial information.
• Must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with consolidation software such as OneStream or Cognos Controller.
• Strong analytical, strategic, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
