Supervisor, Fund Accounting, Private Markets (Private Equity)

Salary: CAD 82,500–CAD 121,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee general ledgers, supporting schedules, reconciliations, and investment transactions for assigned private equity funds using Investran.
• Lead quarterly and annual financial statement preparation under IFRS, US GAAP, and ASPE, including final review for accuracy.
• Guide capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, investor reporting, management fees, and carried interest computations.
• Coordinate property-level data, valuations, performance metrics, and fund-level consolidation.
• Manage audit and tax processes with auditors, tax advisors, clients, and internal teams.
• Mentor associates, review their work, resolve client and operational issues, and support process and system improvements.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in fund administration or audit.
• Strong understanding of private equity structures.
• Proficiency with Investran or other accounting software.
• Experience reviewing accountants’ work and supporting junior team members.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting designation preferred or in progress.
