Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Justin, Texas, United States — on-site. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop manufacturing and project engineers across multiple facilities.
• Oversee capital projects from concept through completion, including equipment purchases, facility construction, and expansions.
• Standardize and improve fabrication and assembly processes covering cutting, forming, welding, and material handling.
• Apply Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methods to reduce waste, improve throughput, lower costs, and optimize labor utilization and production planning.
• Manage engineering standards, capital budgets, preventive maintenance initiatives, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, project coordination, engineered products, and sales teams to resolve technical and manufacturing challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or comparable solid modeling software.
• Experience with process improvement, metric development, root-cause problem-solving, and engineering project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel intermittently up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience with machinery, automation, mechanical equipment, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes, including welding, CNC milling, and facing.
• Strong understanding of advanced engineering principles and solid mathematical aptitude.
