What you will do

• Define, execute, and monitor the Trade and Working Capital origination strategy and growth initiatives linked to Investment Banking transactions.
• Identify and capture growth opportunities and lead origination projects from initiation through implementation across Santander’s footprint.
• Originate and structure Trade and Working Capital solutions for M&A, Project Finance, and Leverage Finance transactions.
• Advise clients on optimal working capital structures based on their capital structure, business plans, and projections.
• Collaborate with clients, relationship managers, risk teams, and M&A, ECM, DCM, Structured Finance, and Leverage Finance teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in Trade and Working Capital Solutions, Private Debt, Structured Finance, M&A, or Relationship Management within an internationally oriented Corporate & Investment Banking environment.
• Front-office experience in an Investment Bank, debt fund, corporate, law firm, or consultancy, with exposure to clients and origination.
• Structuring experience with Investment Banking products such as Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, Project Finance, DCM, or Asset Mobilization.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or Economics.
• Advanced or bilingual English and intermediate Spanish are required. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is also required.

• Portuguese at an intermediate level.
• MBA or CFA.
• Consulting or legal experience.
• Experience leading strategic projects through execution and delivery.
• Financial analysis experience and flexibility to travel across Santander’s footprint.
