What you will do

• Develop and evolve enterprise architecture strategy, principles, standards, target-state designs, and transition roadmaps.
• Provide architecture leadership for strategic initiatives, modernization programs, and enterprise-impacting technology decisions.
• Evaluate buy, build, reuse, partner, and retire options while balancing value, cost, risk, resilience, time to market, and maintainability.
• Lead architecture governance, standards councils, review boards, exception management, and material technology decision frameworks.
• Partner with architects, engineering, platform, data, AI, security, infrastructure, and business technology leaders across a federated organization.
• Mentor architects and senior technology professionals and contribute to architecture capability development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, domain architecture, or senior technology strategy.
• Deep cross-domain expertise across applications, integration, data, AI, cloud, security, and platform strategy.
• Experience with large-scale transformation, architecture governance, standards development, target-state planning, and strategic technology decisions.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with cloud modernization, API strategies, platform engineering, data ecosystems, enterprise integration, AI-enabled capabilities, and automation.
• Advanced degree or certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
