Senior Database Developer (PostgreSQL)

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and manage database systems, particularly AWS RDS for PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
• Develop data structures and load routines supporting application development and business use.
• Build and interface with APIs while supporting application development teams and users.
• Work with relational data, including cleansing, transformation, and structured-data processing.
• Use reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Collaborate with client staff, IT customers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance are required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL and SQL databases, including views, triggers, stored procedures, indexing, and optimization.
• Experience developing APIs, data structures, and load routines.
• Knowledge of AWS environments and experience with relational data management.
• Experience working in an Agile project management framework and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI and Generative AI models and algorithms.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Data Migration Services.
• Familiarity with Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau and AWS certifications in data engineering or architecture.
