Senior Python Developer (Python)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and enhance complex enterprise-grade Python applications, data-intensive services, and automation platforms.
• Develop robust, secure, and high-performance systems for distributed and mission-critical production environments.
• Partner with product, data, and infrastructure teams to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions.
• Debug and maintain complex applications, identify root causes, and improve production reliability.
• Contribute across system design, application development, automated testing, releases, and operational support.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and keep technical and business stakeholders informed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience required, including at least 5 years of applied Python development in enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with high uptime and reliability requirements.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase, including query tuning and schema design.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, SDLC, Agile methodologies, application resiliency, and secure coding standards.
• Applicants must be based in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Shell scripting and command-line tooling in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Exposure to AWS services and cloud-native storage technologies such as S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and Glue.
• Knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts and their application in code.
