Senior Backend Developer (Go)

Location: Remote (US) or hybrid in Dallas, TX.

Compensation: $145,000 – $170,500 per year, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Build and scale Go services for agent quoting, configuration, and application submission tools.
• Partner with App and Checkout teams to ensure seamless integration across surfaces.
• Provide architectural leadership and direction for the Pre-Sales Tools team.
• Resolve partner-specific edge cases as distribution volume scales.
• Write unit and integration tests and perform peer code reviews.
• Utilize AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as a standard part of the daily workflow.
• Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer for contractors.

Requirements

• Must have US work authorization (E-Verify used).
• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Professional experience with Go and designing distributed systems or microservices.
• Proficiency with API design (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, Protocol Buffers).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrated fluency in using AI coding tools for real engineering tasks.
