Equipment Engineer II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States. Full-time onsite position with regular day-shift hours.

What you will do

• Lead installation, startup, qualification, validation, and production release for assigned manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and process interruptions, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures and schedules while supporting predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Monitor equipment uptime, utilization, throughput, maintenance effectiveness, and recurring downtime using manufacturing analytics.
• Coordinate supplier support, repairs, upgrades, spare parts, and equipment improvement projects.
• Lead improvement projects involving safety, quality, reliability, capacity, cost reduction, and cycle-time optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and implementing corrective actions.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, robotics, motion-control, metrology, fluid-handling, or automation systems.
• Experience or exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, semiconductor assembly, electronics testing, precision manufacturing, or complex electromechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations, ESD controls, lockout/tagout procedures, and equipment safety requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Facilities, EHS, Automation, and equipment suppliers.

Nice to have

• Experience with FDC, SPC, MES, CMMS, Power BI, SQL, Python, JMP, Minitab, or related data-analysis tools.
• Experience leading equipment improvement projects, technology transfers, or equipment qualifications.
