Process Support Engineer II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; on-site. Travel is required for 20% of the time. Relocation is eligible.

Salary: $86,500–$119,000 per year

What you will do

• Guide products through the lifecycle from initial concept to final qualification.
• Provide customer support through on-site installation, system diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, R&D, engineering, and product teams to develop and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze data statistically, and compile reports with high-level conclusions.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the business unit to clarify issues and deliver applicable solutions.
• Approve equipment operational quality and instruct customers in system operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Knowledge of at least three processes across one or more semiconductor technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex process engineering and customer product issues.
• Ability to work on-site in Dallas, Texas and travel approximately 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience in applications or process engineering.
• Experience with CVD, ALD, plasma reactive ion etch, PVD, anneal, or implant technologies.
