Senior Business Analyst – Retail Data Products

What you will do

• Gather, document, and prioritize business, data, and analytics requirements, translating them into user stories, data definitions, mappings, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the design and delivery of data pipelines, curated datasets, enterprise data products, and analytics solutions.
• Analyze and reconcile data with SQL, validate KPIs, investigate root causes, and deliver insights for operational, financial, and strategic decisions.
• Define and monitor data quality rules, KPIs, SLAs, controls, governance workflows, and audit processes.
• Plan and execute UAT, regression testing, data reconciliation, release validation, and governed SDLC documentation.
• Partner with data engineering, data science, finance, sales, operations, marketing, IT, architecture, and third-party data partners to drive adoption of governed self-service analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, BI, or data product support.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with experience in data platforms, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience gathering requirements, supporting Agile delivery, managing backlogs, validating data, and reconciling information across systems.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, metadata, data quality frameworks, KPIs, and stakeholder management.
• Work from one of the specified United States locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud data, AI, and analytics platforms, ETL/ELT tools, and data catalog or governance tools.
• Experience working with third-party data partners or in insurance, finance, or similar data-heavy industries.
• Knowledge of MDM concepts, including customer master data, deduplication, and golden records.
• Exposure to AI/ML-ready data ecosystems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, self-direction, and ability to influence without authority.
