Senior Cloud Engineer

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures aligned with mission objectives.
• Lead implementation of AWS cloud solutions with a focus on resilience, performance, and security.
• Develop cloud governance strategies that meet regulatory, compliance, and security framework requirements.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Create, manage, and secure AWS AMIs across multiple classification domains, including IL5 to IL6+ environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on integration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, lifecycle maintenance, and technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced cloud solutions.
• Expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Production experience with Linux and Windows Server, Python and Bash automation, cloud security controls, operational support, and ticket queues.

Nice to have

• Relevant AWS certification, such as Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or SysOps Administrator.
