Senior AWS Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $120,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate large-scale, secure, and highly available AWS cloud platforms.
• Develop infrastructure as code and automation using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Design and operate Amazon EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application workloads.
• Improve cloud security, observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational reliability.
• Partner with application, security, and SRE teams to deliver resilient, cloud-native solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience, including 3 years focused on AWS production environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, plus experience with cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States; new H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, centralized governance, service mesh, eBPF-based observability, or zero-trust networking.
• FinOps and well-architected cost-optimization experience.
• Experience operating HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP-regulated workloads.
• Familiarity with Go or PowerShell.
