Associate, Valuation & Investments (Renewable Energy)

Location: US, Arlington, VA

Salary: $105,000–$131,325 per year, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Build and maintain robust financial models for renewable energy project valuations.
• Evaluate greenfield development and M&A opportunities across the U.S., focusing on solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Collaborate with Development, M&A, Engineering, and Commercial teams to assess investment opportunities, risks, and value drivers.
• Develop and analyze debt, tax equity, and project equity financing structures.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial metrics presented to senior decision-makers.
• Improve team tools, templates, processes, regional strategies, and decision-making analyses.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in renewable energy finance and familiarity with U.S. power markets.
• At least 4 years of strong financial modeling experience, including complex debt and tax equity structures.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, curious, and willing to learn.
