Ocean Import Agent

Location: Noorderlaan, Antwerp, Belgium; full-time onsite

What you will do

• Ensure the timely and accurate movement of ocean import freight and information.
• Provide customer service and manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendor relations and follow department procedures and productivity standards.
• Handle accurate and timely billing and related accounting activities.
• Review process flows and identify best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Escalate problems to management and support continuous self-development.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in ocean import operations.
• Fluent English and Dutch required.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
