Cloud Operations Analyst II (AWS)

Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan, United States; 3-day hybrid schedule onsite at the Farmington Hills office

What you will do

• Develop and maintain observability tools, dashboards, alerts, and reports for cloud and on-premises systems.
• Analyze metrics and logs to identify trends, prevent incidents, and improve system performance and availability.
• Operate the lifecycle of cloud and on-premises servers, including provisioning, patching, configuration, security, troubleshooting, and decommissioning.
• Schedule, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize batch processes and enterprise workload automation.
• Manage data center operations, hardware vendors, infrastructure assets, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, document incidents, and collaborate with DevOps, Networking, and Application Development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with cloud operations, server administration, monitoring and observability, and workload automation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and OCI, including required AWS SysOps Administrator and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications or equivalent experience.
• Certified Datadog Fundamentals and Certified PagerDuty Administrator credentials, or equivalent experience.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers, data center infrastructure, networking, identity management, security, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell, with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize processes, improve decision-making, or solve complex operational problems.
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies.
