Cloud / Virtual Infrastructure System Administrator

Location: Dayton Office; onsite at the Beavercreek, Ohio facility. Normal business hours with occasional after-hours support required.

What you will do

• Provision, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Amazon WorkSpaces and EC2 instances running Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Administer management systems and containerized applications deployed in Kubernetes environments.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory domains, including accounts, group policies, authentication, permissions, and integrations.
• Automate virtual-machine provisioning, operating-system configuration, software deployment, and routine administration.
• Provide backup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space, and troubleshoot virtualized hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Create and maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, procedures, and corrective-action records while supporting continuity of operations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience administering Windows and Linux systems, including patching, installation, configuration, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation for virtualized infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, Amazon WorkSpaces, and AWS Systems Manager; experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux in an Amazon environment.
• Experience with system hardening, patch and configuration management, vulnerability scanning, DISA STIGs, and SCAP.
• Working knowledge of Ansible or comparable automation tools, PowerShell and/or Bash, storage systems including S3, EFS, NFS, FSx, SMB, and NTFS, and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, SSH, and LDAP.
• Valid Top Secret clearance with an in-scope background investigation date required.
• DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification required, such as CompTIA Security+.

Nice to have

• Experience in an enterprise environment of similar size and complexity.
• Experience with Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform/IaC, Helm, Git/GitLab, container registries, and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of SSO, OIDC, SAML, identity providers, MFA, Keycloak, AppGate SDP, and Zero Trust technologies.
