Operations Environment, Health, & Safety Manager

Location: Santa Teresa, New Mexico, United States. Full-time role with 10–20% travel depending on the designated region. Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a comprehensive background screening.

Salary: $121,000.00–$137,752.45 per year

What you will do

• Implement and maintain the Operations EHS Playbook and support local and federal compliance obligations.
• Develop management processes for high-risk activities, including electrical safety, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and contractor management.
• Provide EHS technical guidance, training, resources, and performance improvement support to regional Critical Operations teams.
• Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis and oversee corrective actions.
• Review and approve safety aspects of MOPs, participate in regional CAB review meetings, and lead strategic EHS initiatives.
• Conduct site assessments and support EHS activities during data center commissioning and construction-to-operations handoffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Electrical Safety, Mechanical Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of health and safety experience in critical operations environments, ideally data center operations.
• Experience with data centers or critical operations and working knowledge of NFPA 70E.
• Willingness to complete appropriate OSHA and NFPA training.
• Strong organizational, verbal communication, written communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and successful completion of a comprehensive background screening are required.
