Senior Production Manager

Location: Greenfield, Massachusetts, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility

Annual salary: $104,500–$165,100, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead all production operations and deliver Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People objectives.
• Develop and execute short- and long-range manufacturing strategies, production schedules, staffing plans, and resource requirements.
• Manage and develop Production Managers, Production Supervisors, and production employees through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve throughput, labor utilization, productivity, and efficiency.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause investigations, and corrective actions related to production, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance, and other functions on reliability, capital projects, process improvements, budgets, and operational planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least seven years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-shift manufacturing operations and production teams.
• Experience developing frontline leaders and using operational metrics to drive business performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in plastics, chemical, or other process manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training or certification.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, budget development, and labor planning.
• Master's degree or equivalent advanced experience.
