Junior IT Networker (Microsoft)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, USA. Full-time onsite position, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with additional hours as needed. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Norwood, MA.

What you will do

• Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet connectivity, and application issues.
• Provide first-level support for Windows systems and Microsoft applications.
• Assist with routers, switches, access points, and other network infrastructure.
• Install software, apply patches, perform routine maintenance, and update IT documentation.
• Support users in person, by phone, and remotely.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support or networking, or equivalent education.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365.
• Familiarity with IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
