Associate Network Engineer

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States; onsite in a corporate office

What you will do

• Consult with senior engineers to design and implement network solutions that meet business and security requirements.
• Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
• Document network configurations, changes, and operating procedures.
• Work with cross-functional teams and clients on VPN installations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Basic understanding of networking.
• Ability to work in a corporate office environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified at hire.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours when needed and travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Client communications experience.
• Palo Alto firewall knowledge.
• Cisco Systems networking knowledge.
