Microsoft System Administrator - Senior / Junior (Top Secret with agreement to obtain CI Poly)

Location: Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States; on-site support is required, including after-hours support with a two-hour response time.

What you will do

• Administer and maintain Windows-based production servers, including daily checks, performance monitoring, system matrices, upgrades, and application deployments.
• Apply DISA STIGs, vendor security updates, hotfixes, and other security measures to Windows Server environments.
• Maintain the availability and accessibility of approximately 20 Microsoft IIS websites across five networks.
• Install, configure, monitor, patch, and troubleshoot end-user workstations, printers, conference-room systems, VTC equipment, and other IT automation equipment.
• Manage inventories, equipment issue and turn-in processes, trouble tickets, technical support requests, and continuity of operations activities.
• Report outages, maintain operational logs, and provide on-site support for supported systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required; candidates must also be able to attain additional specified clearances, including NATO Secret.
• Senior candidates need eight years of server administration experience, including Windows environments, production systems, configuration, monitoring, and tuning.
• Junior candidates need three years of desktop support and administration experience, including workstations, monitors, VTC equipment, and printers.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2016 or later, system patching, and security compliance is required for senior administrators.
• DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II / Intermediate certification is required for both levels; senior administrators also need an MCSA or Windows Server certification.
• Senior administrators need experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages, technology deployment, team leadership, management, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
