What you will do

• Lead complex real estate advisory engagements, managing scope, strategy, quality, risk, economics, and client outcomes.
• Build senior relationships with developers, owners, operators, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, REITs, lenders, and family offices.
• Originate new opportunities, expand existing accounts, and contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and market-facing initiatives.
• Advise on acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, refinancings, restructurings, development opportunities, and portfolio decisions.
• Oversee transaction strategy, financial modeling, underwriting, market and feasibility studies, asset management, and portfolio advisory work.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, develop professionals, and support practice strategy, recruiting, pricing, and financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field.
• Typically 15 or more years of progressively responsible experience in real estate advisory, investment, development, asset management, transaction consulting, capital markets, or a related field.
• Experience with valuations for financial reporting purposes, including ASC 805 and ASC 820.
• Established record of originating work, expanding senior client relationships, and leading complex professional services engagements.
• Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills, including cash flow forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis, returns analysis, and complex transaction structures.
• Strong executive communication, leadership, presentation, negotiation, and team-development skills; willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with ARGUS Enterprise, real estate data platforms, analytics, or visualization tools.
• MAI, CFA, CPA, MRICS, CCIM, or certified general real estate appraiser credentials.
