Managing Consultant - Corporate Finance - Transaction Advisory

Location: Dallas, TX, United States. Candidates must submit verification of their legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

Salary: $120,000–$185,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory and financial due diligence engagements.
• Perform quality of earnings, working capital, financial statement, trend, benchmark, business plan, and cash flow analyses.
• Identify issues related to purchase price adjustments and provide deal-structuring insights.
• Delegate, supervise, and lead engagement activities while collaborating with consultants, experts, firms, and client stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Contribute to client pitches, marketing, and the development of the corporate finance consulting practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, management, engineering, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of work experience, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including three-statement models, cash flows, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and develop practical insights and recommendations.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, project management, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or similar financial research tools.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• CFA, CPA or equivalent qualification, or technical/GAAP accounting expertise.
