Director, C&E Consulting

What you will do

• Lead employee benefits communication projects from strategy development through delivery.
• Develop multi-channel communications across digital, print, and face-to-face formats to support employee engagement and required action.
• Coach, mentor, and develop C&E consultants, including guiding client strategy, deliverables, prioritization, and quality standards.
• Oversee workloads, project assignments, workflows, deadlines, and consistency across the consulting practice.
• Ensure content is clear, accurate, well-edited, channel-optimized, and provides a strong user experience.
• Support third-party providers, new business development, client discussions, interviewing, onboarding, and consultant training.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined benefits and communications experience, including leading client work or consulting teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in client management and demonstrated people leadership, mentoring, or development of consultants or project teams.
• Strong strategic consulting, project management, writing, editing, storytelling, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple client priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively with limited oversight while supporting others.
