Private Markets Secondary Data & AI Vice President (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $175,000–$190,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and retirement contributions

hirify.global is building a Secondary Data Strategy capability for its private markets secondaries platform, combining investment data, technology, and business process design.

What you will do

• Lead the analytics and data product agenda for the Secondary Data Strategy workstream.
• Design reporting outputs, analytical views, workflow solutions, and downstream client deliverables for secondary investment data.
• Drive AI- and automation-enabled extraction of investment and market data from unstructured documents.
• Oversee client and RFP datasets, ensuring they are accurate, decision-useful, presentation-ready, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Partner with investment, product, technology, data management, and operations stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
• Define data standards, governance expectations, quality controls, and opportunities to automate recurring analytical processes.

Requirements

• 6–9+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data products, business intelligence, financial data strategy, or a related field.
• Strong experience translating complex business requirements into practical analytics, data product, or data strategy solutions.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML to document and data extraction, including LLMs, NLP, OCR, or intelligent document processing.
• Understanding of generative AI, prompt engineering, model evaluation, hallucination risk, AI-enabled pipelines, human-in-the-loop validation, and quality controls.
• Awareness of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, model governance, auditability, and tooling decisions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Private markets or private equity secondaries experience.
• Familiarity with CapIQ, PitchBook, Preqin, or Bloomberg.
• Working knowledge of VBA, SQL, and/or Python.
• Experience with data modeling, reporting architecture, financial data structures, AI/ML frameworks, or LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Claude.
