Project Manager, Specialty Hair and Skin Care

Location: Princeton, New Jersey, United States. Hybrid schedule with in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote work is available on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: $106,400–$159,500 USD per year, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead multifunctional teams through the planning and execution of projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, identifying interactions, synergies, resource needs, and competing priorities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, timelines, plans, status reports, business cases, work orders, and financial templates.
• Lead weekly cross-functional meetings, communicate progress and issues, and drive deliverables toward ship timing.
• Manage project risks, contingency plans, changes, conflicts, stakeholder communication, and management reviews.
• Support portfolio prioritization meetings and improve PMO processes, systems, and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; a science-related degree is preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of CPG industry experience, preferably in R&D, Operations, or Engineering project management.
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects and leading multifunctional teams in a matrix organization.
• Project management skills, including MS Project and Gantt charts.
• Strong communication, presentation, troubleshooting, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and present to senior management.

Nice to have

• Experience with OTC or regulated product categories.
• PMP certification.
• Familiarity with a Stage and Gate product development process.
