Senior Project Manager

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; hybrid. May require up to 10% travel and occasional late evening or weekend work. US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Salary: $91,400–$190,500 annual base salary, with eligibility for the annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead medium to large-scale projects from initial concept through implementation and warranty.
• Provide strategic direction to project teams and optimize collaboration across cross-functional groups.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and decisions to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, mitigate, and resolve risks affecting project delivery.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, customer satisfaction, deliverables, costs, timelines, and approvals.
• Collaborate with change management specialists on communications, training, and implementation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience.
• Knowledge of insurance and the translation of business needs into data and technology requirements.
• Experience working with Agile principles and project management methodologies.
• Strong organizational, analytical, planning, decision-making, communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer-focus skills.

Nice to have

• PMP or PgMP certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project.
