What you will do

• Coordinate and direct nightly welding production activities to support efficient and timely manufacturing.
• Analyze production documents, determine requirements, and plan work schedules.
• Coordinate operations between departments with other supervisors.
• Maintain records covering employee time, production output, and costs.
• Prepare shift-performance reports and request materials, equipment parts, or repair services as needed.
• Improve production methods, equipment performance, employee motivation, and product quality while enforcing company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to quality detail, and decision-making ability.
• Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Ability to build a successful team through trust and cooperation.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing facility, tolerate loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, extreme temperatures, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Education beyond the high school diploma or GED.
• Leadership training courses.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Depending on the assigned area: RCRA, DOT, HVAC, or 608 Universal Refrigerant certification.
