Night Production Supervisor

Location: Houston, TX, United States; onsite work in a manufacturing and shop environment

What you will do

• Supervise night-shift teams planning and executing assembly activities for modular industrial systems.
• Plan staffing and resources based on backlog and forecasted workload, and schedule and monitor work orders.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, operations project engineers, quality control, and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Manage department performance against budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
• Develop standard work procedures, training curricula, and employee capabilities to improve productivity.
• Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with HSE programs, including Lock-out Tag-out.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of technical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience and management or safety training.
• Heavy mechanical experience with pumps, motors, process piping, valves, control valves, skid-based units, process skids, and instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, ISO, and engineering assembly drawings, and perform shop math.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite, stand up to 11 hours per day, work up to 6 days per week, lift up to 50 lb, and work in a non-temperature-controlled shop environment.
