Network Material Planner

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, USA. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Salary: $61,800–$113,100 for Zone C, $68,000–$124,500 for Zone B, or $74,200–$135,800 for Zone A, plus eligibility for incentive plans.

What you will do

• Plan product families and coordinate the supply of raw and packaging materials across the business-unit network.
• Maintain inventory levels and review short- and long-term material shortage reports.
• Align material requirements with production schedules in collaboration with network schedulers, external manufacturers, and plant teams.
• Issue purchase orders, coordinate supplier move-in and move-out strategies, and prioritize material escalations.
• Review safety stocks and planning parameters to optimize inventory and minimize carrying costs.
• Communicate material availability, lead times, risks, and follow-up actions to planning and manufacturing stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in materials planning; 3 or more years in scheduling and materials planning is preferred.
• Experience with advanced planning tools including SAP ECC, BW, and Rapid Response.
• Strong data analysis, root-cause identification, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, build cross-functional relationships, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
