Production & Material, Operations Manager

Location: Concord, Massachusetts, United States; full-time office role

Salary: $86,400–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily production and warehouse operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Oversee production scheduling, throughput, receiving, inventory management, material handling, and shipping.
• Monitor KPIs, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive Lean, 5S, process optimization, improved material flow, warehouse layout, and equipment utilization.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams and frontline leaders through goal setting, feedback, training, and succession planning.
• Partner with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and other functions on assembly procedures, training, new product introductions, design changes, and quality improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leadership experience across production and warehouse or logistics functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading multifunctional teams and using KPIs and operational metrics for data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and business software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, project management, problem-solving, and execution skills.
• Ability to work 45+ hours per week and support multiple shifts when operational demands require it.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, and process improvement methodologies.
