What you will do

  • Lead second-shift production operations and execute the daily production plan against Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People targets.
  • Launch and ramp up new assembly lines, including staffing, training, equipment readiness, process validation, and target achievement.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, optimize labor utilization, and lower Hours Per Unit.
  • Monitor production KPIs, identify performance gaps, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Lead root cause analysis, structured problem solving, and corrective actions for production, quality, equipment, and process issues.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Product Development on process improvements, Design for Manufacturability, and shift handoffs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, automotive, or electric vehicle operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle repair, rework, or assembly processes.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
  • Skills in problem solving, root cause analysis, process improvement, communication, organization, and decision-making.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and production tracking tools.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred but not required; equivalent experience is accepted.
