Construction Project Director (Mission Critical)

Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA. Full-time role with travel of up to 60%.

What you will do

• Lead delivery oversight for large-scale, mission-critical data center programs and campuses.
• Serve as the primary client interface, providing strategic advisory, executive reporting, and decision support.
• Govern engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, cost, schedule, risk, quality, and commercial activities.
• Manage general contractors, trade partners, consultants, RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and OFCI equipment coordination.
• Oversee mission-critical MEP systems, including electrical infrastructure, UPS, generators, substations, cooling, redundancy, and network interfaces.
• Lead and mentor EPCM specialists while supporting business development, proposals, account growth, and data center market expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in construction, project, or program management.
• Significant experience in EPCM, consultancy, or owner’s representative roles.
• Proven delivery experience with large-scale data center or mission-critical infrastructure programs.
• Strong leadership, client advisory, commercial, financial, risk management, and contract management skills.
• Advanced understanding of data center infrastructure systems, particularly MEP systems.
