Project Manager (Data Center Construction)

Location: Miami, FL, United States. Site-based role with significant site presence during peak construction and commissioning, up to 50%, plus travel as needed including to the Miami headquarters.

What you will do

• Run the project operating rhythm, including execution meetings, action and decision logs, and deliverable tracking across engineering, supply chain, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage GC/EPC partners, consultants, and vendors against contracted scope, milestones, quality requirements, submittals, RFIs, and long-lead equipment schedules.
• Monitor scope, risks, and changes; identify scope creep, maintain mitigation actions, and support entitlement and pricing reviews.
• Partner with planning and cost control to evaluate progress claims, critical-path drivers, forecasts, accruals, and invoices.
• Prepare weekly status reports covering schedule health, key risks, required decisions, and commitments for program leadership.
• Drive commissioning readiness, including prerequisites, vendor technician scheduling, punch-list progress, and turnover documentation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of project management experience on data center, mission-critical, or heavy industrial construction programs.
• Owner-side or EPC delivery experience, including execution across owners, EPC partners, and vendors.
• Working knowledge of GMP, lump-sum, and EPC contracts; submittal and RFI workflows; and long-lead procurement.
• Fluency with P6-driven schedules and earned-value and cost fundamentals.
• Experience with risk and change processes, notices, entitlement basics, and project documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; ability to work on site and travel as needed.
