Operations Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the Operations organization of approximately 30 personnel as a member of the site leadership team.
• Direct daily production execution and operating-area performance against cost, yield, quality, and productivity requirements.
• Drive compliance with hirify.global standards, environmental regulations, MSHA regulations, and HSE policies.
• Develop and implement the strategic direction for Operations while advancing operational discipline and manufacturing excellence.
• Lead incident investigations to root cause and implement corrective actions using the hierarchy of controls.
• Develop direct reports, maintain Operations KPIs, and drive data-based decisions, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated influential leadership, facilitation, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with teams and individuals at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work in-office at the Silver Peak, Nevada site.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience, including line leadership.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management and MSHA compliance.
• Lean Management or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and policies.
