Engineer II-Project Management (Aerospace)

Location: CA - Garden Grove, United States. The role requires access to U.S.-controlled technology and materials, so candidates must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$143,000 USD, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams through design, development, and manufacturing program execution.
• Plan programs, maintain integrated master schedules, and track deliverables and task completion.
• Manage schedules, budgets, material and labor expenditures, ETC/EAC calculations, and financial reports.
• Monitor technical progress and major manufacturing programs, conducting program meetings and design reviews.
• Serve as the primary customer interface, providing status updates, defining specifications, and resolving issues.
• Support proposals, sales forecasts, and business relationships with functional managers and business development teams.

Requirements

• BS degree in an engineering discipline; mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
• 3–5 years of program or project management, or engineering team lead experience in the aerospace field.
• Strong expertise using MS Project.
• Working knowledge of Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, and Time & Material contracts.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
• Eligibility for access to U.S.-controlled technology through U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or protected-individual status.

Nice to have

• MS degree or certificate in Project Management.
• Experience working with accounting and finance functions.
• Familiarity with high-reliability electronics manufacturing processes.
• Experience with power electronics design and development programs.
• PMP certification.
