Casualty/Liability Field Adjuster (Remote)

Location: Fully remote from the United States; field travel throughout the assigned territory is required.

Salary: $48,000–$80,000 per year; 100% commission role with commission currently at 42%.

What you will do

• Conduct field investigations of automobile, general liability, premises liability, and property-related casualty claims.
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, and other parties; collect statements, police reports, medical documentation, estimates, records, photographs, and other evidence.
• Analyze facts and evidence to evaluate liability and damages and identify coverage, subrogation, fraud, and recovery issues.
• Prepare accurate, timely investigative reports and maintain organized claim documentation and activity notes.
• Communicate with clients, policyholders, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and other stakeholders while managing an assigned caseload and deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, client guidelines, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Active Texas adjuster license is highly preferred; an active Florida adjuster license is also accepted.
• 3+ years of casualty or liability claims adjusting or investigative experience.
• Prior independent adjusting, TPA, or insurance carrier experience.
• Experience handling complex liability investigations and taking recorded statements.
• Experience investigating automobile liability, general liability, premises liability, or similar casualty claims.
• Strong interviewing, investigation, documentation, report-writing, analytical, organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment, manage multiple assignments, and travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Proficiency with claims management systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; appropriate adjuster licenses are required or must be obtainable based on state and client requirements.

• Prior casualty, liability, or field claims investigation experience.
