Annual base salary: $68,700–$113,400

What you will do

• Manage active low- to moderately complex bodily injury and property damage liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Investigate claims, determine coverage, evaluate liability and damages, establish reserves, and issue accurate payments.
• Communicate professionally with customers, claimants, attorneys, vendors, internal stakeholders, and other parties.
• Negotiate settlements, handle low-complexity litigation, and maintain accurate claim activity records in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations, system upgrades, and digital tool rollouts, particularly involving AI.
• Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses within three months of starting the role; provide training and coaching to less experienced claim professionals when needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of bodily injury liability, property damage liability, comparable claims experience, or successful completion of the required hirify.global Claim Representative training program.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Two years of bodily injury claim experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Office and enterprise technology platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analysis, judgment, decision-making, customer service, conflict resolution, negotiation, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload, difficult conversations, disputed claims, stress, and pressure while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, terminology, state regulations, claim-handling requirements, fair claims practices, and policy language.
