Legal Manager

What you will do

• Advise business teams in Brazil on vendor agreements, B2B client contracts, and public-sector deals.
• Draft, analyze, and negotiate agreements covering commercial terms, intellectual property, and data privacy.
• Advise senior leadership on legal risks, preventive measures, and solutions supporting business expansion.
• Conduct legal awareness workshops and training for cross-functional teams.
• Oversee litigation across Brazil and manage external law firms strategically and cost-effectively.
• Use AI tools to automate bidding analysis, contract review, and self-service legal workflows while supervising and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Law degree and active OAB license to practice law in Brazil.
• At least 7 years of legal experience in-house at multinational companies or in law firms.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
• Business judgment, risk assessment, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, situational awareness, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate across countries.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology or startups.
• Experience with public tenders and data privacy.
• Spanish language skills.
