VP, Global Sourcing

Location: Los Angeles or Bakersfield, California, USA. Full-time, on-site executive role.

Salary: $430,000–$475,000 annually, plus a possible discretionary bonus.

A privately held global company headquartered in Los Angeles, operating food and beverage brands, a shipping and supply chain business, and industrial real estate operations.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies across multiple business units and spend categories.
• Identify opportunities to optimize spend, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and create enterprise value.
• Lead complex global supplier negotiations and build strategic supplier partnerships focused on quality, innovation, sustainability, and resilience.
• Lead a geographically dispersed sourcing organization across the United States and Asia-Pacific.
• Oversee Global Sourcing, Asia-Pacific Sourcing, Sourcing Analytics & Planning, Technical Packaging Engineering, Logistics, Travel & Fleet, and New Product Development.
• Establish KPIs and use analytics and market intelligence to improve sourcing processes, governance, supplier performance, and total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.
• At least five years of senior executive leadership experience.
• Experience leading a sophisticated, multi-category global sourcing organization in a large, complex, matrixed enterprise.
• Significant experience with Asia-Pacific supplier markets and international sourcing operations.
• Strong commercial, financial, analytical, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or another advanced degree preferred.
