What you will do
- Own the remote installation, configuration, activation, testing, and documentation of on-premises equipment at customer facilities.
- Deploy and support servers, PoE switches, network cameras, sensors, and custom hardware.
- Provide advanced support for customer issues, automated alerts, and critical incidents through the on-call rotation.
- Troubleshoot Linux systems, networks, WiFi performance, GPUs, interfaces, and security integrations across customer environments.
- Support Tier 1 operations, improve SLAs and service availability, and develop troubleshooting tools and processes.
- Create SOPs and knowledge-base articles, cross-train colleagues, and communicate professionally with technical and non-technical customers and vendors.
Requirements
- Must be located in the United States.
- At least 4 years of experience deploying hardware within customer networks and remotely managing deployments.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge of LAN/WLAN architecture, DHCP, VLANs, static routing, IP addressing, NAT/PAT, servers, switches, routers, and network cameras.
- Experience with Linux administration, AWS SSM/SSH, NVIDIA GPUs, Docker, Grafana, customer security and compliance technologies, and professional customer communication.
Nice to have
- CCNP certification in good standing.
- Ability to automate and perform workflow QA with Ansible or Python.
- Previous project management experience.
