Sr. SBA Loan Closing Specialist

Location: Remote within the USA. If located within 40 miles of a designated hub, onsite work is required Monday–Thursday, with Friday optionally remote. Hub locations include Columbus and Independence, Ohio; Buffalo, New York; Mount Joy, Warren, and Erie, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh and Bellevue, Pennsylvania; and Fishers, Indiana.

What you will do

• Manage due diligence for new SBA loans and modifications from customer acceptance through booking and funding.
• Collect, review, and analyze legal, collateral, tax transcript, CAIVRS, and third-party vendor documentation.
• Prepare and execute loan agreements, SBA forms, disclosures, and Letter of Credit documentation.
• Submit and obtain required SBA approvals through E-Tran or SBA One and verify approval authority.
• Coordinate lenders, underwriters, customers, attorneys, title companies, SBA representatives, and Loan Servicing.
• Perform post-closing reviews, maintain accurate system records, verify fees and disbursements, and report closing progress to leadership.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of loan closing or loan operations experience required.
• 5–6 years of SBA experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of SBA processes, guidelines, forms, disclosures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to use loan origination, loan documentation, Microsoft Office, and department-specific software.
• Must be able to work onsite Monday–Thursday if living within 40 miles of a designated hub.
