Equipment Engineering Supervisor (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States. Full-time onsite role on a compressed night shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.

What you will do

• Lead night-shift execution, including technician assignments, work prioritization, coverage, pass-downs, and escalation response.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, recovery support, technical guidance, and return-to-service coordination for manufacturing equipment.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance, tool qualification, documentation accuracy, and equipment performance improvements.
• Coach and develop Equipment Technicians and Process Technicians through training, feedback, certification progress, and performance expectations.
• Reinforce compliance with safety, quality, cleanroom, lockout/tagout, chemical handling, and operating procedures.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Facilities, EHS, and suppliers on root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading or coordinating technicians in semiconductor, cleanroom, electronics, high-volume manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with complex manufacturing equipment, automated tools, metrology systems, vacuum systems, robotics, motion control, pneumatics, controls, sensors, or electromechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, tool recovery, equipment qualification, structured troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of cleanroom operations, lockout/tagout, electrical and chemical safety, incident reporting, and EHS compliance.
• Strong communication, coaching, prioritization, and decision-making skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with compressed shifts, night shifts, 24/7 operations, or high-urgency production environments.
• Experience with maintenance management systems, work-order systems, MES, shift pass-down tools, dashboards, SPC, or production reporting systems.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, standard work, kaizen, or visual management.
• Lean Six Sigma, maintenance reliability, electrical/electronics, PLC or controls, or OSHA safety certifications.
