Quality Control Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: Moorpark, California, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $50,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

• Inspect components and assemblies during receiving, in-process, and final inspection stages.
• Verify products and processes against applicable requirements across multiple product families.
• Complete required data entries and communicate inspection findings.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow established safety guidelines.
• Collaborate within the department and support additional duties related to assigned areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience inspecting mechanical components in an aerospace or defense company.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, CMM programming, and optical systems.
• Ability to program CMM equipment using PCDIMS software.
• Working knowledge of ISO/AS procedures, GD&T, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and understand English and work onsite in Moorpark on the second shift.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt through ASQ.
• CQE or CQM certification.
• Significant experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers.
