Electrical Mechanical Specialist (Second Shift, Packaging Center) (Golf Ball Manufacturing)

Location: Fairhaven, Massachusetts, United States of America. Full-time, onsite, second-shift position at the packaging center.

Pay range: $38.95–$46.65 per hour.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical production systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Rebuild and calibrate electromechanical devices and test instruments against performance standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design or adapt equipment for changing production requirements.
• Plan maintenance work efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with team members and leaders to support safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Meet one of the required education and experience combinations: completed TPC curriculum plus 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience; an approved technical associate degree or certificate plus 3+ years of relevant experience; or 7+ years of industrial electrical experience without formal post-secondary education.
• Formal training in AC/DC circuits and basic PLC functionality.
• Experience with instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems, including reading blueprints and electrical or hydraulic schematics.
• Proficiency with measuring tools, tolerances, hand tools, power tools, and machine tools such as drills, lathes, and millers.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and NFPA 70E safety practices; reliable attendance and willingness to provide personal trade tools.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking, basic math, computer skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Required Health Services testing must be passed.
